TCC Version 1.5.17 Full Installation Package
November 27 2005 04:01 PM - TCC Version 1.5.17 Full Installation Package
Issues addressed in release 1.5.17
New Features:
Tighter integration with TheSky6: The TCC software now monitors the center position of the active field of view indicator (FOVI) and will jog the mount in response to the user dragging the FOVI. The typical use will be:
- Perform and Image Link and Synch in the PIR utilities at or near the desired object.
- Drag the FOVI to achieve optimal framing and/or guide star acquisition. This will result in the mount jogging to the new position, and re-centering the FOVI on the screen.
- Rotate the FOVI to achieve optimal framing and/or guide star acquisition.
Bug Fixes:
- The bug causing corrupt object coordinates written to the FIT header during an Image Link and Synch is now fixed.
NOTE: Version 1.5.16 installation program contained a bug that requires version 1.5.16 to be uninstalled prior to installing this version 1.5.17

The software will allow computer control of pick-off mirror tilt and focuser for both channels.
Missing in this release is ASCOM control of the focusers, so focusing via FocusMax is yet possible.
Please report any bugs to RCOS.
