Demonstrated engineering and modeling of the RCOS Equatorial Forks for the 20/24RC.

Stress and Frequency Testing:

RCOS German Equatorial stress testing results.

The fork arms are tested for flexure at the horizon (worst case) for deflection. The white/purple is +/- 100 psi.

Deflection = 0.0035 inches
Rotation = 0d 00' 18" worst case
Frequency = 60-90hz
Weight of arms and OTA = 500 lbs total

The deflection of a single fork arm, horizon to horizon, was determined to be less than 15 arc seconds.
