Optical Tube Warrantee - 3 years

Electronics Warrantee - 2 years

Optical Coatings Warrantee - 1 year

All RC Optical Systems Optics and OTA components are guaranteed to be free of workmanship or manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years. Warrantee period for electronics is 2 years. Warrantee for optical coatings by RC Optical Systems is 1 year.

Repairs and shipping will be at no charge to the customer, if normal use is determined by RC Optical Systems.

Other accessories or components not manufactured by RC Optical Systems are guaranteed by their respective manufacturer (eg, mounts by Software Bisque,, CCD Cameras by SBIG, etc). Optics (and interferograms) are guaranteed by their respective manufacturer.

Payment:

All checks should be made payable to RC Optical Systems. We accept cashiers checks, personal checks and money orders. A 50% deposit is required for ordering and the balance is due upon receipt of optics and prior to shipping.

Delivery:

The point of sale for all RC Optical Systems products is our dock in Flagstaff, Arizona. Arizona State sales tax applies to Arizona residents. You may choose to have your merchandise shipped via a carrier of your choice. Charges for shipping your order include more than just carrier cost. It also includes packing, documentation, order processing, and insurance. Orders are shipped via customer specified carrier (ie., UPS, FedEx, Parcel Post).

Custom Work:

We are happy to provide custom work on request. Detailed documentation and drawings are required. All custom products designed and built for the customer are not returnable or refundable.

RCOS only builds instruments "to order". Each instrument is therefore a custom order and is not subject to a trial period, nor may it be returned for a refund.

International Orders:

Payment method is by guaranteed instrument , or bank checks drawn from US banks only (orders prepaid by other than guaranteed instruments will be held until it clears the bank). RCOS is not responsible for bank charges associated with transfers or bank wires. Orders to foreign countries that are not insurable by Parcel Post cannot be accepted unless the customer authorizes alternate shipping (i.e. International UPS, Fed Ex, Burlington, etc.).
